Your Pet Store For Good Because Pets Get All The Profits
Michelson Found Animals Adopt & Shop pet store in Culver City and Lakewood was conceived in support of a single belief: all pets deserve a loving home. Our largest Adopt & Shop location opened its doors on May 12, 2014, in Culver City. Adopt & Shop is truly a one-stop adoption and shopping experience. We are the only nonprofit pet retail store in California that offers pet adoption, dog daycare, dog grooming, dog training, and a complete line of quality and unique products to support happy and healthy pets.
Since our adoptable dogs and cats come from local shelters, every adoption saves the life of an at-risk animal and gives them an opportunity to live a fulfilling life in a loving home. Adopt & Shop is dedicated to giving every animal the happiness and love they deserve, without exception. We love each of our animals and get a sense of fulfillment every time we see them placed in the perfect home.
Because we’re a nonprofit, purchasing from Adopt & Shop helps more than your favorite pet, it helps all pets. Proceeds from our retail sales are reinvested to improve the well-being of animals everywhere.
But we can’t do it alone. We need volunteers to assist in caring for the animals. Our volunteers are given the opportunity to make a positive impact on their community, one animal at a time.
While others do great work to support animals, no one offers total care for your dog or cat like Adopt & Shop.
As a part of the Michelson Found Animals Foundation nonprofit organization, we’re empowered to approach adoptions differently. Proceeds from Adopt & Shop retail sales are donated to programs that support the happiness and safety of animals in our homes, shelters and everywhere in between.
